Box Drive How To

Northwestern Box Login:

http://box.northwestern.edu


Change an External Password for first time users (required for Box Drive):

1. Log into your Northwestern Box.

2. At the upper right, click your name, then from the drop-down menu, click Account Settings

3. Near the bottom, under "Create External Password", click Edit Password to set up a password.

4. Click Save.

Box Drive Setup:

1. Download Box Drive here: https://www.box.com/resources/downloads/drive

2. Follow instructions to set up Box Drive: https://community.box.com/t5/Getting-Started-with-Box-Drive/Installing-Box-Drive/ta-p/37450

3. Box Drive will run automatically once installed.
